Directions to: Northwest On-site Wastewater Training Center & Washington State University Research & Extension Center Located at 7612 Pioneer Way E. west of Puyallup


From Eastern Washington:
Take I-90 west across Snoqualmie Pass; exit 4 miles past North Bend on Exit 25.Turn to the left (south) on highway 18 (toward Auburn/Tacoma). Take Highway 18 west to just past Auburn and exit on to highway 167 South Puyallup). In 8.7 miles, exit highway 167 to highway West 512 and South 161 (follow signs to Puyallup/Olympia). Approximately 1 mile later take exit to E. Pioneer Ave. Turn right (west) at the signal. Go west through Puyallup about 2 miles to Fruitland Ave. (a signal) and turn left (south). Go 0.2 miles south on Fruitland Ave. and turn right (west) through a gate on a narrow black-topped road. The training center is 200 yards straight ahead.


From the North:
Go South on I-5 to the 72nd street exit, cross back over the highway Go east on 72nd St. for about 6.5 miles (at signal at bottom of hill in about 6 miles, 72nd St. becomes Pioneer Way E.) to Fruitland Ave. At the signal on Fruitland Ave. turn right (south) 0.2 miles south on Fruitland Ave. and turn right (west) through a gate on a narrow black-topped road. The training center is 200 yards straight ahead.


OR

From the Kitsap Peninsula
Go east on highway 16 until it merges with I-5. Go south on I-5 and take the 72nd St. East exit. Go east on 72nd St. for about 6.5 miles (at signal at bottom of hill in about 6 miles, 72nd St. becomes Pioneer Way E.) to Fruitland Ave. At the signal on Fruitland Ave. turn right (south) 0.2 miles south on Fruitland Ave. and turn right (west) through a gate on a narrow black-topped road. The training center is 200 yards straight ahead.


From the South:
Go north on I-5 Take Exit 127 east (Puyallup/Mt. Rainier) on to highway 512 . After about 6.2 miles exit at the Canyon Rd./Summit exit. Turn left (north) on to Canyon Rd. After about 0.3 miles (at the 2nd signal after the turn) turn right (east) on 104th St. E. Travel 1.4 miles to the 2nd stop sign (first stop sign is at Woodland) and turn left (north) at the 4-way stop on to Fruitland Ave. Go 1.85 miles and turn left (west) through a gate on a narrow black-topped road. The training center is 200 yards straight ahead.
